Doesn't even tell me when I'm lagging so dunno maybe it's one of the many bugs that other people are running into. It destroys one of my cards when the timer runs out (usually one of the better ones, but it doesn't matter which one because this is a game about synergy and combos where even the most lowly of cards can be the difference in winning and losing) and then the round is hopeless. I have played a few games of Gwent and keep losing because even though I am playing cards the server doesn't recognize it.

UI is buggy AF (I'm on PC so it may be due to the fact that it is obviously a half-assed port from a tablet/phone UI.) And the topper was that I have a lousy internet which I am aware of but I have played several other digital ccg's and while I will occasionally lag such that it shows I am disconnected, it almost always resumes play quickly enough for me to stay in the game. The only non-PVP option for new players is a terrible "Training" section where the AI gives up on the last round, so totally worthless as far as figuring out some strategies and seeing opposing cards in action. Have to buy single player content (not even a nice little starter mission which would be a better way to do the tutorial and allow new players to learn their cards and the flow of play while not under a timer.) From what I can see (but as I said, I probably am missing a bunch of content that is probably buried in some sub-menu of a sub-menu,) you can only play PVP at the start. Navigating through the main menus for building decks and checking out your rewards is convoluted AF. Tutorial was ridiculous and doesn't teach you anything of value. Have played a few hours this morning and I'm done beating my head against a wall. I'll start with the little bit of good: cards/animations/overall theme and style of the factions is gorgeous and geared towards an adult audience (I mean, hey, it is witcher afterall.) Now for the substantial amount of bad.

I love the Witcher series and a fan of digital ccg's, so when I found Gwent (on slant no less) I was psyched. My Inquisitor at times seems the strongest of all with the range and all the self preservation abilities seemingly walking through different fights but for me seems inconsistent among the different fight mechanics (Didn't used to be like that).ĭifferent class's require different tactics and the ability to improvise and adapt to the environment, enemies and scenes.InquisitiveHeryshaf's Experience Overall terribly disappointed.

The JK had difficulty at Copero's Guardian droid plus the Acid blooded Abominations in "Jedi Under Siege". Frequent use of jumps, sabre throws and my emphasizing the top five DPS moves plus, Alot of running around. Recently I took the JK through Onslaught expecting a slog but instead finding he actually got through possibly easier then even my GS. When BW *Removed some of the abilities plus others I adapted to Running tactics for a normally "Stand your ground" ranged character (Playing a ranged like a Melee at times only farther away). Possibly it's because I started SWTOR with him and was my Only character for a long time and or he was Before SWTOR became "Easy". He always seems to get through with the least amount of trouble. My strongest, most consistent Character has always been my Main the Gunslinger. (*) Unfortunately, a significant portion of the PvP crowd plays objective-based maps like they are arenas with auto-resurrection but that is a rant for a different day. I believe Operative/Scoundrel Advanced Class is the PvP FoTM currently not sure which Discipline(s). Objective-based maps play a little differently (*) from arenas. The skill/abilities used, their sequencing and so on will also be different for PvP and will be highly situational there can certainly be no set Opener or rotation. PvP build refers to selection of a set of "Combat Proficiencies" that are ideal for PvP. PvP gearing is same as gearing for Level 75 PvE content (whereas most of the PvE content is scaled to Level 70.) An example is the use of relics.

one has to gear and build a character for PvP for consistent success unless one is just doing it casually the way you experience combat is dependent heavily on the Discipline (Watchman, Combat, or Concentration) rather than just the Advanced Class (Sentinel) In addition to other information provided above, Edit: Talking about Level 75 PvP mostly here, btw.
